        We have resumed serving our wonderful New Mexican breakfasts
        on weekends!  There are great breakfast options within easy walking
        distance on weekdays. Weekday rates are discounted.

          Breakfast
        hours: 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.Check-in:
          3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Late arrival fee of $20 applies from 8pm
          until 10pm. $50 after 10pm. *Please call or text us @ 575-779-4831 if you will arrive more
          than an hour outside of your estimated arrival time.
 *Late
          arrival by prior arrangement only. We'd
          be happy to check you in as early as noon, but rooms may not
          be ready. If not ready, you could park, drop off luggage, get
          keys and get oriented. Check-out:
          11:00 a.m. During ski season: On request, breakfast may be served as early
        as 7:30 a.m.

        Rates ~
 Our
        rates range from $159 to $289, are seasonal and based on double
        occupancy (up to two persons). Additional guests are $20 each
        per day. Breakfast is included in the room rate. Children are
        welcome but we ask the same rate as adults (age six and under
        stay free). Sales and Lodgers tax are additional. Extended
        stay rates are available.~
        Reservation Policy ~ Reservations
        must be secured with a valid credit card. We reserve the right
        to cancel any reservation that cannot be authorized by VISA,
        Mastercard, American Express or Discover. It is your responsibility
        to make sure that we have a valid credit card on file. Payment
        may be made by credit card, check or cash.   We
        require a two-night minimum stay for reservations during high-season,
        Presidents' Day, Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends. Thanksgiving
        Day reservations: We require a two-night minimum stay with no
        check-ins or check-outs Thanksgiving Day. Christmas
        reservations: We require a three-night minimum stay with no check-ins
        or check-outs Christmas Day. Credit card will be processed or
        payments by check must be received 30 days prior to your arrival.
        Open rooms will be released for shorter stays two weeks prior
        to the requested arrival date. For
        groups reserving 3 or more rooms for 3 or more nights, or four
        or more rooms for any length of stay, we require payment by check
        for the entire reserved stay plus tax within 7 days of making
        the reservation. Reservations must still be secured with a valid
        credit card. Credit card may be charged for the full amount if
        the check has not arrived by the due date and we are unable to
        contact you. Management
        reserves the right to change room assignments during periods
        of high-demand or when maintenance or repairs are necessary,
        On the rare occasion that this may occur, reassignment would
        be to a room of equal or greater value, and on the same level
        if possible. We will attempt to notify you of any changes as
        far in advance of your stay as possible.We understand how carefully
        our guests select their rooms and it is of the utmost importance
        to us that you have an enjoyable stay.~
        Cancellation Policy ~ La
        Doña Luz is an intimate property where every guest reservation
        is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change
        and you must cancel your reservation, you must do so at least
        fourteen (14) days prior to your arrival date. We
        require thirty (30) days notice for Christmas, whole house and
        group bookings of three or more rooms. In
        the unlikely event that you must cancel after the cancellation
        date or shorten your reserved stay, please understand that we
        must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation.
        We will refund whatever portion of your reservation that we are
        able to rebook. This
        policy includes cancellations due to weather, injury, illness,
        canceled flights, etc. The purchase of trip cancellation insurance
        is recommended as we can not be responsible for circumstances
        beyond our control.~
        Pet Policy ~
        Due
        to staffing difficulties and our desire to provide our guests
        the highest standards of cleanliness, we are no longer accepting
        pets.

        are liable for any damages or additional cleaning charges beyond
        normal use and wear to the rooms or property.
        ~Return
        of items left behind ~We
          have resumed serving our wonderful New Mexican breakfasts on
          Saturdays and Sundays! Weekday rates remain discounted and there
          are some great breakfast options a short walk away.
          ~
          Parking ~
          Free
          parking is provided on-site for average size passenger vehicles.
          However, as parking is limited, we may only be able to allow
          one vehicle per room. Large vehicles such as RVs, large trucks
          and trailers may not be accomodated depending on circumstances
          and availability. In such case, we will assist you in finding
          off-site parking, but you may be required to pay a fee. Please
          be aware that our parking area is small and may require some
          maneuvering to negotiate.

          Fire Policy ~
          If
          you wish to have a fire, we charge a $25 per day fee. We will
          provide Piñon Firewood or substitute, firestarter and
          instruct you in the operation of the damper. Failure to follow instructions may result in additional cleaning
          and painting charges!
 
          We
          charge a minimum of $20 to cover shipping and handling. Large
          or valuable items may require additional postage or insurance.

          Directions ~
         Please
        note that check-in and parking is located on the south side of
        the building at 107 Des Georges Lane for all rooms except La
        Madonna. If you are staying in La Madonna, you may wish to arrive
        on the Kit Carson Road side of the building. The address is 114c
        Kit Carson Rd. If
        coming into town from the south (Hwy.68), turn right on Des Georges
        Lane, just a few hundred feet past the first traffic light after
        McDonalds and between the two downtown parking lots. If
        coming into town from the north (Hwy.64), turn left on Des Georges
        Lane. It's the first street on the left immediately (200 feet)
        after the Kit Carson Road/Hwy.64.intersection and between
        the two downtown parking lots. If
        coming into town from the east on Hwy.64, turn left on Paseo
        del Pueblo Sur (Hwy 68) and immediately (200 feet) take the first
        left onto Des Georges Lane between the two downtown parking lots. Des
        Georges Lane is flower-filled and inconspicuous.... pay close
        attention or you may drive right past! |
